Description

Protein Cloud Eggs are fluffy egg whites baked until golden brown with a rich yolk nestled in the center.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. Separate the egg whites from the yolks, placing the whites in a large bowl.
  3. Add salt and pepper to the egg whites.
  4. Whip the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  5. Gently fold in cheese if using.
  6. Form the whipped egg whites into nests on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Make a small indentation in the center of each nest.
  8. Bake for 3-4 minutes until lightly golden.
  9. Remove from the oven and carefully add a yolk to each nest.
  10. Bake for an additional 3-5 minutes until the yolk is set to your liking.
