Description

A healthy take on traditional Bolognese using zucchini noodles instead of pasta.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 medium zucchinis, spiralized
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and garlic, sauté until softened.
  3. Add ground beef, cook until browned.
  4. Stir in crushed tomatoes, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  5. Simmer for 15 minutes.
  6. In a separate pan, lightly sauté zucchini noodles for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Serve Bolognese sauce over zucchini noodles.
  8. Garnish with fresh basil.
