Description

Delicious scalloped potatoes perfect for holiday gatherings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish with butter.
  3. Layer half of the potatoes in the dish.
  4. Sprinkle half of the onion and half of the cheese over the potatoes.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Add the remaining potatoes, onion, and cheese.
  7. Pour heavy cream over the top.
  8. Bake for 1 hour or until golden brown and bubbly.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
