Ingredients

- 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped bell pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or skillet over medium heat.
- In a bowl, mash the black beans with a fork.
- Add breadcrumbs, onion, bell pepper, garlic, cumin, chili powder, salt, pepper, and egg.
- Mix until combined. Form into patties.
- Heat olive oil in the skillet or on the grill.
- Cook burgers for 5-7 minutes on each side until browned.
- Serve on buns with your favorite toppings.
