- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture.
- Stir in chocolate chips, peppermint extract, and crushed peppermint candies.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto baking sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden.
- Let cookies cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks.
