Ingredients

- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup unsalted peanuts
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Instructions
- Grease a baking sheet with butter.
- In a saucepan, combine sugar and corn syrup over medium heat.
- Stir until the sugar dissolves.
- Add peanuts and butter, stirring constantly.
- Boil until mixture reaches 300°F (hard crack stage).
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and baking soda.
- Pour the mixture onto the greased baking sheet.
- Spread evenly and let cool completely.
- Brittle can be broken into pieces once cooled.

- Store in an airtight container.
- Be cautious of hot sugar syrup.
- For a twist, add chocolate drizzling on top.
