Description
A traditional Mexican pozole soup made with hominy and flavorful broth.

- 2 cups hominy
- 1 pound pork shoulder, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 6 cups chicken broth
- 2 teaspoons cumin
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
- Lime wedges, for serving
Instructions
- In a large pot, sauté onion and garlic until translucent.
- Add pork and cook until browned.
- Stir in hominy, chicken broth, cumin, oregano, and salt.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour.
- Serve hot, garnished with cilantro and lime wedges.

- Use canned hominy for convenience.
