Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steak
  • 1 cup jasmine rice
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Cook rice according to package instructions.
  2. Marinate steak in soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Cook steak for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium rare.
  5. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  6. Steam broccoli and sauté bell pepper until tender.
