Description

Learn how to cook ground beef in an Instant Pot with three different seasoning options.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon barbecue sauce

Instructions

  1. Turn on the Instant Pot and set it to ‘Sauté’ mode.
  2. Add olive oil to the pot.
  3. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
  4. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  5. Season the beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  6. For taco beef, add taco seasoning and a splash of water. Stir well.
  7. For Italian beef, add Italian seasoning and a splash of water. Stir well.
  8. For barbecue beef, add barbecue sauce and a splash of water. Stir well.
  9. Secure the lid and set to ‘Pressure Cook’ for 10 minutes.
  10. Once done, allow natural pressure release for 5 minutes, then quick release remaining pressure.

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container.
