Learn how to cook ground beef in an Instant Pot with three different seasoning options.

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon barbecue sauce
Instructions
- Turn on the Instant Pot and set it to ‘Sauté’ mode.
- Add olive oil to the pot.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
- Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Season the beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- For taco beef, add taco seasoning and a splash of water. Stir well.
- For Italian beef, add Italian seasoning and a splash of water. Stir well.
- For barbecue beef, add barbecue sauce and a splash of water. Stir well.
- Secure the lid and set to ‘Pressure Cook’ for 10 minutes.
- Once done, allow natural pressure release for 5 minutes, then quick release remaining pressure.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Reheat on the stove or in the microwave.
