Description

A delicious and healthy twist on traditional burgers using Greek flavors.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 whole wheat burger buns
  • 1 cup spinach leaves
  • 1/2 cucumber, sliced
  • 1/2 cup tzatziki sauce

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, feta cheese, breadcrumbs, red onion, garlic, olive oil, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix until well combined. Form into 4 patties.
  3. Preheat grill or skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook patties for 5-6 minutes per side or until fully cooked.
  5. Toast burger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Assemble burgers with spinach, cucumber, and tzatziki sauce.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground turkey for chicken.
