- 2 cups long-grain rice
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the rinsed rice and stir to coat with the butter.
- Pour in the chicken broth, salt, and pepper.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cover.
- Simmer for 18-20 minutes or until rice is cooked and liquid is absorbed.
- Remove from heat and let sit for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork.
- Stir in chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
