Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups long-grain rice
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add the rinsed rice and stir to coat with the butter.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth, salt, and pepper.
  6. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cover.
  7. Simmer for 18-20 minutes or until rice is cooked and liquid is absorbed.
  8. Remove from heat and let sit for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork.
  9. Stir in chopped parsley before serving.
