Description

Homemade fresh cranberry sauce is a simple and flavorful side dish.


Ingredients

  • 12 ounces fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 orange, zested and juiced

Instructions

  1. Rinse the cranberries under cold water.
  2. In a saucepan, combine sugar, water, and orange juice. Bring to a boil.
  3. Add the cranberries and orange zest to the saucepan.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes until cranberries burst.
  5. Remove from heat and let cool. The sauce will thicken as it cools.
