Description

A creamy chicken corn chowder that is hearty and flavorful.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 2 cups corn, fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup potatoes, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add onion and carrots; sauté until soft.
  3. Add potatoes and corn; stir for 2 minutes.
  4. Pour in chicken broth; bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat; simmer until potatoes are tender.
  6. Stir in chicken and cream; heat through.
  7. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  8. Serve warm.
