Description

A hearty chicken corn chowder that warms you up.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 2 cups corn, frozen or fresh
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon thyme

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add onion and garlic; sauté until soft.
  3. Add chicken, corn, and chicken broth; bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
  5. Stir in heavy cream, salt, pepper, and thyme; heat through.
  6. Serve hot.
