- 1 large head of cabbage
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Remove the core from the cabbage and steam the leaves until soft.
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic until the meat is browned.
- Mix in cooked rice, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- In a baking dish, layer the cabbage leaves and meat mixture, repeating until all ingredients are used.
- Top with shredded cheese if desired.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes until heated through.

- Use leftover rice for quicker preparation.
- Substitute ground turkey for a lighter option.
