- 1 cup bulgur wheat
- 1 lb ground lamb
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp allspice
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup pine nuts, toasted
Instructions
- Soak bulgur wheat in water for 15 minutes, then drain.
- In a bowl, combine ground lamb, soaked bulgur, onion, spices, and parsley.
- Mix well until all ingredients are incorporated.
- Shape the mixture into elongated balls or torpedoes.
- Brush each kibbeh with olive oil.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place kibbeh in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not touch.
- Cook for 15-20 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden brown.
- Serve warm with yogurt or tahini sauce.
