Description

Air Fryer Lamb Kibbeh is a delightful Middle Eastern dish featuring spiced lamb and bulgur wheat, shaped into torpedoes and cooked to perfection in the air fryer.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup bulgur wheat
  • 1 lb ground lamb
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp allspice
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup pine nuts, toasted

Instructions

  1. Soak bulgur wheat in water for 15 minutes, then drain.
  2. In a bowl, combine ground lamb, soaked bulgur, onion, spices, and parsley.
  3. Mix well until all ingredients are incorporated.
  4. Shape the mixture into elongated balls or torpedoes.
  5. Brush each kibbeh with olive oil.
  6. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  7. Place kibbeh in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not touch.
  8. Cook for 15-20 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm with yogurt or tahini sauce.
