- 3 lbs beef chuck roast
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon cumin
Instructions
- Season the beef roast with salt, pepper, paprika, and cumin.
- In a skillet, brown the roast on all sides over medium-high heat.
- Place the roast in a slow cooker.
- Add chopped onion, minced garlic, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the beef is tender.
- Remove the roast and shred it with two forks.
- Return the shredded beef to the slow cooker and mix with the juices.
