Description
Traditional Portuguese soup made with kale, potatoes, and chorizo.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb kale, chopped
- 1 lb potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 6 cups vegetable broth
- 1 chorizo sausage, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add onion and garlic, sauté until softened.
- Add diced potatoes and broth, bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender.
- Add kale and chorizo, cook until kale is wilted.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot.

- Use fresh kale for best flavor.
- Adjust chorizo amount based on preference.
