Ingredients

  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract for frosting
  • Candy cane pieces for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, melt the butter.
  3. Add sugar and mix well.
  4. Incorporate eggs and vanilla extract.
  5. Stir in flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  6. Add peppermint extract and mix until smooth.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
  9. Let cool before frosting.
  10. For the frosting, combine powdered sugar, milk, and peppermint extract.
  11. Spread frosting over the cooled brownies.
  12. Sprinkle candy cane pieces on top.
