Pan-seared cod with lemon butter sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 cod fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season cod fillets with salt and pepper.
  3. Place fillets in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Remove cod from skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add butter and garlic; sauté until fragrant.
  6. Add lemon juice and stir well.
  7. Return cod to the skillet and coat with the sauce.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
