Description

A hearty holiday breakfast casserole featuring turkey sausage.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound turkey sausage
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 4 cups cubed bread
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the turkey sausage over medium heat until browned.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  4. Add cubed bread, cooked sausage, and cheese to the egg mixture. Stir to combine.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until set and lightly golden.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
