Ingredients

  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Whipped cream for topping

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, brown sugar, baking powder, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla.
  3. Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
  4. Preheat the waffle iron and grease it lightly.
  5. Pour batter into the waffle iron and cook according to manufacturer’s instructions.
  6. Serve warm topped with whipped cream.
