These crusty mini baguettes are perfect for sandwiches or as a side with meals.
Ingredients

- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/4 cups warm water
- 1 teaspoon active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix warm water and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add flour and salt to the yeast mixture. Stir until combined.
- Knead the dough for 10 minutes until smooth.
- Cover the bowl and let it rise for 1 hour.
- Punch down the dough and divide it into small portions.
- Shape each portion into a baguette.
- Place on a baking sheet and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
- Make slashes on top of the baguettes.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- For a crustier texture, place a pan with water in the oven.
- Store in a bread bag or container to maintain freshness.
