Ingredients

- 2 cups shredded coconut
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 8 ounces dark chocolate, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine shredded coconut, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract.
- Mix until well combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool.
- Melt the dark chocolate in a microwave or double boiler.
- Dip each haystack in chocolate and place back on the parchment paper.
- Let the chocolate set before serving.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container.
- Use unsweetened coconut for less sweetness.
- Experiment with milk chocolate if preferred.
