Ingredients

- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup grits
- 4 cups water
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon cajun seasoning
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a pot, bring water to a boil.
- Add grits and reduce heat. Cook until thickened.
- Stir in butter and cheese until melted.
- Season shrimp with cajun seasoning.
- In a skillet, cook shrimp until pink and cooked through.
- Serve shrimp over grits and garnish with green onions.
