- 1 whole chicken (about 4–5 lbs)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
- Rub the chicken with olive oil.
- Mix garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Season the chicken with the spice mixture evenly.
- Place the chicken on a roasting pan.
- Roast for about 1.5 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before carving.
